PAYMENTS, SECURITY DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT PROVIDERS
Payments made through the CASA HUGO website are securely processed by Stripe.
CASA HUGO does not store Guests’ complete payment card information.
Stripe may process certain personal and technical data necessary for:
payment processing;
security deposits and payment authorizations;
fraud prevention;
transaction security.
Payments processed through Stripe are secured using industry-standard encryption protocols.
Any processing performed by Stripe is governed by Stripe’s own Privacy Policy.
CASA HUGO may also use the specialised provider Swikly for the management of security deposits required for certain bookings.
In this context, certain identification, booking, payment and transaction data may be transmitted to Swikly for the purpose of establishing, managing, releasing or, where applicable, enforcing the security deposit.
Processing activities carried out by Swikly are subject to Swikly’s own Privacy Policy.

RESERVATIONS, CONSENTS AND CONTRACTUAL EVIDENCE
To ensure the validity of reservations and the legal security of transactions, CASA HUGO may retain certain technical and evidential records, including:
reservation date and time;
IP address;
technical logs;
version of the Terms and Conditions accepted;
consent status;
transaction-related information;
technical identifiers associated with payments.
Such information is retained for:
contractual performance;
fraud prevention;
the protection and defence of CASA HUGO’s legal rights.
CASA HUGO may also retain connection, authentication and security logs to prevent fraud, secure its services and protect its legitimate interests.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
For the protection of persons and property, certain common areas and exterior access points of CASA HUGO may be monitored by video surveillance systems.

do not record private accommodation areas;
are used exclusively for security purposes;

Recordings are accessible only to authorized persons and are retained for no longer than thirty (30) days, unless a longer retention period is required in connection with an incident, legal proceedings, a lawful request from authorities, or a regulatory obligation.
